FAMILY
Wife: Lacey Homa (née Croom), a real estate agent and licensed California appraiser from Scottsdale, Arizona, who’s built her own following documenting behind-the-scenes tour life, including viral TikTok content from Augusta National during Masters week. The two have been together for over a decade, married in November 2019, and have caddied together at the Masters Par 3 Contest.
Children: The couple has welcomed multiple children, with a second child announced around the time of Homa’s 2025 caddie split.
TEAM HOMA
Former Caddie: Joe Greiner, Homa’s childhood friend from growing up together at Vista Valencia Golf Course near Los Angeles. Greiner first caddied for Homa starting in 2013; they split, then reunited in 2019 and stayed together for all 6 of Homa’s PGA Tour wins, plus his Team USA appearances at the 2022 and 2024 Presidents Cups and the 2023 Ryder Cup.
The split: In April 2025, just before the Masters, the two parted ways, a decision Homa has been candid that was not his choice but one he ultimately supported. In his own words: “I would rather walk life with Joe forever than this dumb game.” The two remain close friends; Greiner has since filled in for other pros, including a brief stint on Justin Thomas’s bag when Thomas’s regular caddie was injured.
Current Caddie: Bill Harke, a veteran looper who previously worked with Chris Kirk, Colt Knost, and Jonas Blixt, joined immediately after the Greiner split.

THE SLUMP
Homa’s form has genuinely declined since a T3 finish at the 2024 Masters. Through the 2025 season, he missed the cut or withdrew in nearly every start, falling to as low as World #157 in the FedExCup standings and #78 in OWGR, his lowest ranking in 5 years. The slump coincided directly with an equipment switch, a new swing coach, and the caddie split, making it one of the more visibly difficult stretches for any established Tour winner in recent memory.
MAJOR CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS
Best finish: T3 (2024 Masters Tournament), his career-best major result and the last strong form he showed before the 2025 slump began.
No major championship win to date.
SOCIAL MEDIA & PUBLIC PERSONA
Homa is widely regarded as one of the most engaging and self-deprecating personalities on Tour on social media; his candid, humor-driven posts (and his wife Lacey’s own behind-the-scenes content) have made the couple a notably relatable, human presence in professional golf, especially during difficult stretches like the 2025 slump, which Homa discussed openly rather than avoiding.
